The Role of This Website

This is a private reference site with no authority to act for a public office. It does not store official records, confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a request or court document for a visitor.

Its guides point to Kanawha County and West Virginia public-record resources and may connect visitors with outside research tools. The office that creates or maintains a record remains responsible for its official version.

Acceptable Use

• Comply with all applicable laws when using this site.
• Do not use any information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten another person.
• Do not use site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another eligibility decision.
• Do not attempt to enter accounts, servers, or restricted areas without authorization.
• Do not operate automated bots, crawlers, or scrapers against the site.
• Do not interfere with site access, security, or use by other visitors.

No Consumer Reports or Screening Use

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We do not supply consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks, and neither the site nor its advertising partners provides screening services. You agree not to use information found here or through a linked tool for:

• Decisions to hire, retain, discipline, or dismiss a worker
• Tenant selection or any housing decision
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit
• Any other purpose governed by the FCRA

Links may lead to WVDCR and court searches, Kanawha County pages, federal locators, legal-aid material, or private research services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control the destination’s content, data practices, terms, results, or availability, so review its rules before using it.
